A parody video of a man being hassled by Humboldt authorities for weed possession went viral this week after it was featured on the popular website worldstarhiphop.com.

Eureka man Jack Rawson (who plays the officer) and two other Humboldt locals who chose not to be named, star in the video, which was uploaded to the Instagram account @cj_humboldt last Friday.

Rawson told the Outpost that the video now has more than 20 million views, and has been shared by a number of celebrities on social media, including R&B artist Baby Bash, NFL Hall-of-Famer Warren Sapp and comedian Felipe Esparza.

“Every person who ever followed me new or old, I love you,” Rawson wrote on Instagram after the video’s success. “Thank to everyone who posted, even if you didn’t tag me, I appreciate my work being seen by so many.”
