So it looks like we have a number of folks here in Humboldt that are without power this afternoon. Humboldt County’s Office of Emergency Services put up a Facebook post at around 3:00 p.m. that said there are around 288 PG&E customers without power. Police scanner traffic throughout the day has had a number of calls for service to deal with downed power lines as well.

      Humboldt OES also says there is a wind advisory in effect until 10:00 p.m. tonight. Winds are expected to be between “20 to 40 mph winds and gusts between 60 between 70 mph.
