TUESDAY LOWDOWN: We’re Not Exactly Sure What This Band Playing in Arcata Tonight Does But It Doesn’t Seem Boring

Hmm. It says here Richard’s Goat Tavern will play host to Portland band/art collective MSHR on Tuesday night and, you know, sometimes you gotta just tap out and let band’s bio speak for itself. From their website:

MSHR builds and explores systems composed of sound, light, sculpture, software, circuitry and human presence. Their practice is a self-transforming entity with its outputs patched into its inputs, expressing its form through interactive installations, virtual environments and live improvisations that integrate interface design with generative systems and a distinctive formalist approach.

See? Now that’s good promo. Who can possibly know what the hell that means without actually going to see these people in person. I mean, you can get some idea of what’s they’re trying to do by watching the clip above, but you probably are just gonna have to venture out on a Tuesday, friends.
