THURSDAY LOWDOWN: Subhumans in Humboldt
Here’s some things you could do in Humboldt Thursday night:
- You could punish your ears at the Eureka Veterans’ Hall by subjecting them to an assemblage of hardcore bands including the headliners, veteran UK anarchist punk group Subhumans, who have been sneering and upsetting audiences since the ‘80s. (Experience them in the clip above.)
- You could welcome Gunsafe — the formerly local “face melt torch country” group fronted by Stella Martinez — back to Humboldt during their album release show at Humboldt Brews.
- Or, because it is 2022 and nothing matters anymore, apparently you could witness a gaggle of local comedians tripping out on stage at the Savage Henry Comedy Club during their Psychedelic Pshyo.
Details on these spectacles and more can be found in your Lowdown listings below. You could also stay home.
