THURSDAY LOWDOWN: Go Get Your Guy
The favorite LoCO Guy Fieri file photo, taken at some past chili cookoff, probably.
It’s a packed Thursday here in Humboldt! But of the many worthy events in today’s Lowdown, only one can lay claim to featuring an appearance by Ferndale’s most famous son. Yes, Guy Fieri again makes the trek home for the annual Humboldt County Fair Chili Cook-off, an event sure to test your tongue’s meddle. Local band Monument Road will pepper your ears with tunes while you gorge. Details on that event and others in your Lowdown below.
