With guns drawn, Eureka Police Department officers have been combing the neighborhood around 12th and I streets after an officer spotted wanted felon Anthony Manuel Burgess there. The subject fled and has yet to be found.  

LoCO readers will remember Burgess as the wigged man who fled from law enforcement on his bicycle before he was clipped by a passing motorist and subsequently arrested. He is also said to have ties to the Sureño gang. 

At this point, Burgess remains at large. We will update when we know more.
