Humboldt Redwoods State Park.
Humboldt Redwoods Sate Park naturalist John “Griff” Griffith returns with another educational lesson about local wildlife.
In his latest video chat, Griff talks about invasive species and the severe effects they can have on native plant and wildlife populations. As an example, he breaks down the effects English ivy can have on California’s ecology.
“It turns out to be this trifecta of no thanks and this cycle of ignorance,” Griff says.
