Lowdown: All Saturday’s Fun (and One Fun Chore)

Let’s make a little deal, Humboldt.

There is no shortage of fun to be had within our fair county this Saturday. Or course, the main event is the 2014 North Country Fair on the Arcata Plaza, highlighted by the annual Samba Parade. And there’s some high energy bluegrass to be had at HumBrews courtesy Hot Buttered Rum. Or you could yuk it up with Daily Show correspondent Jordan Klepper at HSU (note that that engagement yesterday was moved from the Van Duzer Theatre to The Depot, please and thank you).

You can do any or all of those things. But first you have to go clean a beach. It’s the 30th Annual Coastal Cleanup Day. Watch the video above for details on how to help Humboldt’s coast stay as beautiful as it should. Then go have more fun

Deal? Sweet.
