Lowdown: Redwood Coast Used-To-Be-‘Jazz’-Now-Just-‘Music’ Festival All Weekend

Obviously the big draw this weekend will be the slightly renamed Redwood Coast Music Festival again taking over multiple venues Eureka-wide. While they may have dropped the “jazz” from the name, a quick perusal of the schedule reveals plenty of names that have played the event for years — we’re looking at you Stompy Jones and Tom Rigney and Flambeau.

If you’d rather steer clear of the festival for whatever reason, do note that very enjoyable punk grass duo Hillstomp returns to HumBrews to melt faces. Inspect their energy in the clip below.
