MONDAY LOWDOWN: Haunting Country in Old Town

 

Oh, this looks good for your ears. Maybe start your Humboldt week in dramatic fashion at the Siren’s Song Tavern with a spaghetti western soundtrack brought to life courtesy of Portland “apocalyptic cowboy music” group Roselit Bone. Formed in 2011, the group is touring in support of their latest album, released just this month titled Blister Steel — sample the title track in the clip below.

They share the bill with the debuting local honky tonkers Mojave Green which features members of Rooster McClintock and Cliff Dallas and the Death Valley Troubadours. —AG
