THURSDAY LOWDOWN: Odds You’ll Hear ‘Midnight at the Oasis’ in Arcata Tonight: High

78-year-old blues singer Maria Muldaur returns to Humboldt this Thursday. If you are an age where you aren’t familiar with Muldaur’s place in history, chances are you have parents that do. Her 1973 song “Midnight at the Oasis” was a #6 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and she would later record and tour with the Jerry Garcia Band. Thursday you can catch her at Humboldt Brews.
