WEDNESDAY LOWDOWN: Saharan-Ispired Shredding in Arcata

Blending West African guitar stylings with post-punk chaos, Takaat — Tuareg for “noise” — are set to take the stage at Richards’ Goat Tavern on Wednesday. The group is made up of the rhythm section of Mdou Moctar, which you might’ve caught in Tiny Desk Concert form last year.
