Lowdown: Your Humboldt Saturday

Your potential river days are numbered — water’s gettin’ low. So you could do that. But if you want to cavort with fellow Humboldtians there are plenty of events of note on Saturday:

  • Fortuna is filled with shiny automobiles of yesteryear for the Fortuna AutoXpo.
  • The lost coast will be rocking thanks to the return of the annual Roll on the Mattole featuring music from Fruition and Giraffe Dodgers, to name but a few.
  • Again, last weekend of the Humboldt Crabs regular season. Don’t blow this. Saturday features a double header!
  • Another double header! Humboldt Roller Derby returns to Redwood Acres to take on the formidable Berkeley Resistance and Shasta Assassins.
  • Party bluegrass band the Brothers Comatose will infect HumBrews with plenty of toe-tappin’ energy.

More on those thangs and more below in Saturday’s Lowdown.
