MONDAY LOWDOWN: Seattle Surf Sirens La Luz in Arcata

If you just can’t wait to get all patriotically explodey on this Independence Day you may want to head down to Fortuna. The “Friendly City,” as they do every year, will be jumping the gun for freedom by staging its Fortuna Fireworks Festival in Newburg Park. Make America Kaboom again. 

Meanwhile up in Arcata The Miniplex will play host to a trio of bands including returning headliners La Luz, indie surf band from Seattle. Catch their wave in the clip below. —AG
