SATURDAY LOWDOWN: It’s Pride Time
The second annual Redwood Pride festival will again make its presence felt in Eureka on Saturday with a multi-venue event celebrating the local LGBTQ+ community and its allies. In brief, the day includes:
- 10 a.m.: A gathering at the Jefferson Community Center featuring music, vendors and speakers.
- 4 p.m.: The Rainbow Pride Parade which begins on I Street and runs west on Second Street to the Eagle House.
- 5 p.m.: Pride Night at the Eagle House remains all-ages until 9 p.m. when DJs and drag performers take over.
