As we all know, to be a LoCO reader is to also be a fan of the Golden State Warriors, a team and phenomenon that has provided us countless high highs and low lows since this website’s inception. Praise be unto them.

This year, despite losing longtime star Klay Thompson to sadness, the Warriors have defied all logic to scrap their way to the top of the NBA’s Western Conference, making us dare to imagine them as contenders once more. We know it’s early in the season, but we want to be fooled! Fool us, Dubs!  

But renewed rabid fandom comes at a cost. After two straight games of blowing sizable leads only to lose to lesser teams, LoCO demands blood. If another banner is to be raised to the rafters of the Chase Center, a weak link must be identified. So help us, Humboldt: we must single out a sacrifice to ship somewhere ghastly — say, Philadelphia. Who we tradin’?
