The jury in a case of a 2015 drug killing in Arcata has found defendant Billy Joe Giddings guilty of second degree murder and assault with a firearm. The jury acquitted fellow defendant Robert Louis Huntzinger on all charges.
Both men were facing murder charges stemming from a drug robbery gone bad.
Outpost correspondent Rhonda Parker was in the courtroom when the verdicts were read and will have a full report later this evening.
