Get fired up, HumCo!
It’ll be hotter than a Eureka homeless encampment at the Arcata Theatre Lounge Thursday night at the third annual Humboldt Fire Pin Up Party. The grossly overstaffed-but-super-awesome alt fusion jazz group Snarky Puppy (watch the video below) will supply the grooves for the 1940s themed shindig. Also skedded to perform local world music group Vidagua, juggler/host Steven Weven, local dance troupe The Beat Vixens and local comic/sass machine Sherae O’Shaughnessy.
The hottest part? The evening raises money to go toward Humboldt Music Academy scholarships. Boom.
