Summah FINALLY Comes to Humboldt
Hopefully you’ve taken full advantage of the best aspects of Humboldt’s summer. You flipped the away bums’ bus over after a Humboldt Crabs game. You got totally freckled laying in the sun (that might just be me). You drove east a bunch. Good work, summah lovah!
Unless you didn’t. If you’ve totally phoned in summah so far, well, you suck. But you may have one last chance to redeem your failings. Tuesday night at the Arcata Theatre Lounge, Savage Henry Independent Times have been gracious enough to book summah expert Howard Kremer to clear away the Humboldt fog in your life. Don’t you dare doubt Kremer’s love o’ summah. Watch the above video where he helps Zooey Deschanel realize that winter is passe. See?
Now that you know you’re dealing with a pro, head on up to the ATL for the Have a Summah Comedy Tour for a night also featuring the No. 5 comedian on AskMen.com’s “Top 10 Emerging Comedians” list Kyle Kinane — pretty sure that is where they ranked Lenny Bruce back in the day, so watch out for this guy — plus local comedians John McClurg and Dutch Savage. Oh, this is a comedy show, in case that wasn’t clear.
