The Siren’s Song Tavern is Nicer Than A Subway Station

As you’re totally all aware, all of Humboldt this week is counting down to this coming historic Wednesday. That’s when, for the first time in human history, a scrappy, little local news blog will sponsor a minor league baseball game semi-pro summer collegiate team game [Edit h/t to Dane G]. (We expect to see you all at the Humboldt Crabs’ Lost Coast Outpost Night … which also happens to be Cowbell Night, thank you very much.) It’s gonna be goooood.

But to tide you over until then, your Lost Coast Outpost will refer you to the musical duo that will occupy The Siren’s Song Tavern this Monday evening. Watch the video above to see how “Stravinskibilly” purveyors Mountain Animation loudly and triumphantly wait for the subway. Two people be makin’ a big sound. Do you know what’s better than watching music happen in a subway station? Enjoying it somewhere that serves beer.
