Your Humboldt Tuesday will be enhanced by a playful, funk battle at HumBrews where the winner will be your ears and possibly yo’ ass.
- In this corner, Los Angeles-based Afro-disco army Orgone. Fronted by powerhouse lead singer Adryon de León, the group will jab its brand of raw soul at Arcata until it goes down for the 10-count (see below).
- In this corner, San Francisco-birthed psychedelic funk gang Monophonics. Featuring the strained vocals of keyboardist Kelly Finnigan, the band will throw heavyfunky haymakers at us Humboldtians ‘til we beg for mercy (see below).
