(AUDIO) Will Durst Aims to Make Humboldt Great Again
Brain says stop! If we’re being honest, it’s been well over a year since we’ve enjoyed a day in which the name “TRUMP” hasn’t popped into our brain like a mental prom night pimple. What a brander! Ugh.
There’s a little longer than two months left until, hopefully, we can all stop thinking about political sports, but since there is no escape in the meanwhile, perhaps you need some electoral levity to hold you over. Thus, over the next two nights, stand up political satirist Will Durst will offer up some catharsis to sick-of-it-all Humboldters during a pair of shows in which he promises to skewer the candidates for your yukky amusement. Friday night Durst will tickle the Mateel Community Center and on Saturday he hits the Arcata Theatre Lounge (details in your Lowdown listings below).
Before he makes Humboldt great again, Durst called in to KHUM to chuckle it up with DJ Cliff Berkowitz. You can hear that interview below and/or peruse less democratic Friday events in your Lowdown listings farther down. —Andrew Goff

Ably assisted by his trusty overhead projector, this hilarious 80 minute production reflects Durst’s outraged and outrageous sensibilities.”
