SUNDAY LOWDOWN: Outdoor/Indoor Joy Options
The gathering must go on. Even as the sky threatens to burst, this weekend’s outdoor events are still hoping for your Sunday presence. The Medieval Festival of Courage in Blue Lake and the Apple Harvest Festival in Fortuna continue, rain or shine.
Also out in the elements, the McKinleyville Land Trust crew will unveil the new Chah-GAH-Cho Trail Sunday afternoon. The nearly 3/4 mile trail traverses through coastal grasslands and forest canopy and overlooks the Mad River.
If you’d like to be around your community indoors, the Arcata Theatre Lounge brings the globe-condensing sounds of Delhi 2 Dublin back to HumCo. Sample what you could be dancing to this evening in the clip below. —AG
