Ready or not, Humboldt, November 11 is Veterans Day and some of you, we’re told, are blessed with the freedom of a day off from work. Take it! On this very special Thursday, if you happen to be a veteran or you notice one in close proximity, consider taking a jaunt to the Sequoia Park Zoo, where holiday admission is free for those who served and their families (with ID). Yes, that includes the Redwood Skywalk.
