Got That Craving For Singing Chickens? Set Coordinates For Arcata This Weekend

Birds of a feather in The Valiant Red Rooster

There’s plenty to grab your attention on this Humboldt Friday, from holiday-themed offerings — see Huckleberry Flint‘s winter show or The Nutcracker — to Dead-adjacent jamming from the David Nelson Band. We are truly blessed.

Up at the Arcata Playhouse, it’s the final weekend for the The Valiant Red Rooster, a musical take on the classic children’s tale. One of the show’s featured featured players, Kitt Mann, recently stopped by KWPT to chat with Chuck Rogers about the show. Cluck along by clicking the audio player below and/or scroll your complete Friday Lowdown farther down. —AG
