Humboldt kicks off a packed week of fowl play on Thursday. Admirers of our local, fine-feathered friends flock to the North Coast for the annual Godwit Days Spring Migration Bird Festival, seven days of field trips, lectures, workshops, and boat excursions led by avian experts.

If you plan to set aside the next week for the birds, we don’t mean to brag, but the LoCO Lowdown is a little more mobile ready than the Godwit Days official website.
