Thursday Lowdown: Humboldt International Film Festival Continues

Human beings will gather in a dark room to watch magical moving pictures Thursday as the 48th Humboldt International Film Festival rolls on. The festival bills itself as the world’s oldest student-run film festival and features hundreds of selections submitted from all over the world. Through Saturday, the fest presents different themed nights at Arcata’s Minor Theatre (Wednesday: Animation; Thursday: Documentaries; Friday: Narratives; Saturday: Best of the Fest).
