Lowdown: (VIDEO) Here’s the True Detective Opening Credits Because The Arcata Playhouse Will Sound Like This Tonight

Tuesday evening, The Handsome Family returns to Humboldt — they were last here in 2013 in support of Andrew Bird — for a haunting, restrained, harmonious evening at the Arcata Playhouse. You might not even know that you’re intimately familiar with the music of the husband and wife team of Brett and Rennie Sparks. But if you’ve ever binge watched True Detective, you likely know most of the words to the duo’s song “Far From Any Road,” which acts as the show’s theme.
