(AUDIO) Thursday Lowdown: A Good Circus Comes to Town

 

 

Your Humboldt Thursday features your first chance to catch the Flynn Creek Circus which is setting up shop in Fortuna’s Newburg Park and will run shows through the weekend. Unlike other circuses we’ve roasted here on the Lowdown in the past, no animals were harmed in the pursuit of FCC’s spectacle. The all-human production features acrobats, aerialists and daredevils sure to inspire a future profession for your young ones.

KHUM’s Bayley Brown stopped by Newberg Park for a radio interview with FCC members Blaze Birge, David Jones and Ross Travis who discussed the circus’s history and how they got involved.  Listen below:
