THURSDAY LOWDOWN: Humboldt’s Chance to Hold On Loosely

If you’ve been in close proximity to a radio at some point in the last 35 years you’ve without a doubt had your ears jabbed by the crunchy riff at the center of “Hold On Loosely,” easily the most notable contribution of 38 Special — a band so “southern rock” they have their very own Van Zant brother. 

You know the lick. Chn… chn chn… chn chn… chn chn… Yeah, that one. 

As the billboards have foretold, 38 Special rocks Bear River Casino Thursday night.
