FRIDAY LOWDOWN: A Lil Vagina Chat
There’s quite a variety of out-and-about options on this Humboldt Friday. We challenge you to scroll your Lowdown below and not come across something that makes you go, “Oh, that could be fun.”
One event we will highlight — partly because those involved bothered to stop by one of LoCO’s sister radio stations (hint, hint) — is the 25th anniversary revival of V Ensler’s The Vagina Monologues being held at the Eureka Theater. Go just for the entryway decorations. (Trust us.)
To help pump you up, consider listening to The Vagina Monologues’ local organizers — director Kristy Hellum and producer Melinda Pederson, specifically — during their recent visit with KHUM’s Toby Tullis.
