FRIDAY LOWDOWN: They’re Back
For the next two months, thousands will flock to the Arcata Ball Park in the hopes of entering the numb Americana trance only sunshine, cheap beer, and barely competitive baseball can provide. Yes, the Humboldt Crabs kick off their 2026 season Friday night with what’s likely to be a trouncing of the bum-heavy Novato Knicks. If the Crabbies don’t win it’s a shame.
