Nordic Aquafarms press release:
Nordic Aquafarms has submitted permit applications and related studies to the Water Quality Control Board, California Coastal Commission and Humboldt County Planning Department for their land-based aquaculture facility planned for the Samoa Peninsula.
The community is encouraged to attend this town hall meeting to learn more about Nordic Aquafarms permit process, hear application and study highlights, a general overview of Nordic’s planned approach to construction and more. At the end of the presentation, Nordic will also welcome questions from the audience.
Please note that because this meeting is open to all visitors, guest video and audio features will be disabled. Questions will be received via chat or can be submitted via email prior to the meeting to prevent unwelcome visitors from sharing offensive content.
