Lowdown: Secrets
For over a month now, LoCO has attempted to ignore whispers that one of Humboldt’s all-time most beloved bands were secretly planning a return to the stage. As you know, if there is one thing we love around here, it’s secrets.
But then we saw the attached Facebook status update hit the tubes from none other than Humboldt Bay Harbor Commissioner Mike Wilson. We seem to recall Wilson playing in some local bands over the years, but our memory is as foggy as the bay he commissions for. Very mysterious, yes? But the question remains: What is this practice show at the Arcata Playhouse tonight he refers to all about?
“Maybe it’s a clown show,” Wilson told the Outpost this morning. Sure! Maybe! Or maybe it’s connected to the show happening tomorrow night at The Palm Lounge. Who could ever really know for sure?!
Gah. All this secrecy is hurting our heads. Let’s just watch a completely unrelated video below. Oh, Thursday Lowdown listings farther down.
