Saturday Lowdown: This is What a Rebel Craft Rumble Looks Like (VIDEO)

Are you ready?

As is often the case, Humboldt has packed a tight Saturday with which to recreate. Scroll your Lowdown below for details on the very green third annual Mecca Cup, jammers Moonalice, a pair of harvest dances, some metal, some swing, some standup and Halloween come early in SoHum.

Perhaps the highest profile event taking place Saturday is the annual Rebel Craft Rumble, SCRAP Humboldt’s annual Iron Chef-like battle royal for teams of wannabe Martha Stewarts taking place this year at the D Street Community Center in Arcata. Since this is a highly visual event, LoCO is gonna shut up and direct you to the YouTube hype below featuring scenes from last year’s glue gun shootout. Glitter fight!
