Friday Lowdown: Beer, Musicals, The ‘90s and the Return of Marty O’Reilly

You made it! Don’t forget that you can start your Humboldt Friday evening by meeting the folks behind The Booth Brewing Company, Eureka’s new South Korean sudsmiths, at a low key tasting party in their still-under-construction facility — pardon their dust. Read more about The Booth here.

As far as more traditional out-and-about fare, North Coast Repertory Theatre’s production of Oklahoma! continues this weekend — read MRU scene editor Lauraine Leblanc’s review here. The tireless Club Triangle crew attempts to seduce you with a ‘90s dance party at The Jam. There’s also plenty of music for your ears to suck up. YouTube allows you to sample the sounds of Marty O’Reilly (left) and and Ohtis (right) below — they’re playing at HumBrews and Richard’s Goat, respectively.

Details on all that and more in your Lowdown listings below. —AG
