(VIDEOS) Tuesday Lowdown: Molly Venter! Ryan Singer! Death Valley Girls!

Not bad, not bad. If you’re not afraid of clicking a YouTube play button, the out-and-about menu for your Humboldt Tuesday will go down smooth:

  • Arcata Playhouse regulars will be familiar with Molly Venter who has made the Humboldt trek a few times with her band Red Molly. The Americana singer/songwriter is now touring her latest project, Goodnight Moonshine, a collaboration with her husband Eben Pariser. Sample via the video at left, below.
  • Standup comedian Ryan Singer has a Netflix account which was helped him conclude that aliens built the pyramids. Absorb his comedic approach in the center clip below then consider opening yourself up to more of his yuks tonight at The Jam
  • You need bands in your life. Well, your best Tuesday play, then, would have to be Richards’ Goat Tavern which will act as a temporary garage for LA-based Death Valley Girls, as well as local favs Monster Women. Get down with DVG in the clip at right, below. —AG
