You lucky ducks have plenty to do this Humboldt Friday, but before you scroll, we’d like to highlight a glorious rebirth. Nine and a half months after the historic downtown Arcata fire destroyed several local businesses, beloved institution Northtown Books is preparing to reopen Friday at 4 p.m. at its new location just off the Arcata Plaza, at 737 G Street (formerly Hatchet House).
