Mateel Community Center Announces Cancelation of Tonight’s Reggae Show

UPDATE, 12:02 p.m.: Well, geez. Here’s a note from the producer of tonight’s Tribal Seeds show announcing its cancelation:

Tonight’s show with Tribal Seeds at the Mateel Community Center has been postponed until January 9th due to unexpected band member illness. Tickets will be honored for the new date or can be returned to place of purchase for a refund. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for supporting independent live music.  Visit mateel.org for more information.

Original post: Comparatively, we have call this a low key Saturday. Sure, there a few “holiday” craft fairs goin’ on — we know which holiday you guys are talking about. Nice try — but seeing as Thanksgiving hasn’t even happened yet, we refuse to acknowledge their existence (except in the listings below).

There’s some gems in the mix. Like, if you’d like to sway along with the SoHum masses, the Mateel Community Center is hosting major touring reggae act Tribal Seeds tonight. Are they your particular brand of reggae? We snuck this video away from YouTube to help you decide.
