Well, if you’re feeling up to it after this tense week, your Lowdown reveals a few ways in which you can distract your brain the Humboldt Friday. If she is your hero, hopefully you already snatched up tickets to see Neko Case at the Van Duzer Theatre.

It’s also that Arts!Arcata time of the month meaning that the Arcata Plaza will remain vibrant — it’s already seen lots of life today.

One of the on-and-around the Plaza shows maybe worth your entertainment dollar: Poor Man’s Whiskey are maybe best known for releasing an Americana and bluegrass tribute album covering all of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon.
